Republic NOLA’s 7500 sq.ft. of versatile warehouse space allows for many flexible formats and different types events with up to 1000 guests. Because we primarily operate as a music venue, we typically host two events per night with a Private/Special Event earlier and a late-night Public Event/Show--though Buy-Outs of both time slots are available depending on the details of your Event. Our two seperate, yet interconnected levels, allow for us to rent either the Main Room (downstairs), Mezzanine (upstairs), or Full Venue depending on your event’s size and format.

The below chart is a general guide, however capacities may fluctuate depending on desired furnishings and other event elements. Options to increase capacity to 1200-1500 guests with an outdoor lounge may be available for large groups upon inquiry.

Several years ago, just as I moved into my current position at Republic, I had the privilege of helping one of my very best friends plan her wedding. I didn’t want her to feel pressured to choose Republic just because I work for the venue, so I helped her narrow things down to 5 choices and scheduled a day of tours and tastings. That was the moment it really clicked for me that I never want our clients and guests to feel that way, and that every single event should be unique to its host, its purpose, and its guests. At Republic NOLA, we strive to customize things as much as possible and focus on saying “yes” to solutions instead of “no” to challenges. The fact that we are locally owned and operated by a small core team allows us to be flexible and creative, and I want that ingenuity and inventiveness to radiate through every event we produce. Whether it’s making sure a couple’s personality is reflected in their wedding décor, or imagining innovative new ways to brand the venue for a corporate event, finding the unique-factor is so very important to me.

After a lot of discussion and me asking “are you sure??!” about a dozen times, my friend ended up booking her wedding at Republic NOLA. She and her husband still regularly refer to it as one of the best nights of their lives, and I know for me, it was truly one of the most special events I have ever had the pleasure of producing. After all the planning is said and done, making memories is really what it’s all about, and I hope to have the opportunity to make some incredible memories with you!
