Haus Obscura

Step behind the curtain of Haus Obscura, an immersive haunted circus from Freakshow New Orleans and Republic NOLA. This is not a seated show: audiences move freely through red velvet lounges, shadowy passages, forgotten catacombs, and a crooked Big Top, choosing which characters to follow and which fragments of the story to uncover.

Somewhere beyond the curtain, the outside world has forgotten how to move, feel, play, and desire. Inside, the Ringmaster and Ringmistress preside over a company caught between sanctuary and spell. A good clown remains for the bewitched ballerina he loves. Jill hides inside her box until she can reclaim it on her own terms. Mischievous twins test every rule—and every stranger who wanders too close. Through fire performance, aerial artistry, ballet, live music, clowning, and intimate encounters, the inhabitants of the Haus invite you to consider whether you are only watching the circus…or whether you belong in it.

There is no fixed path and no single correct way through. Follow a sound, return to a room, accept an invitation, or simply watch as the story reveals itself around you. Each experience lasts approximately one hour and culminates in a shared finale.

Ages 18+. Capacity is extremely limited.
