Boogie T
Born and raised in Louisiana, Brock Thornton, aka Boogie T, has risen from the bayou to bring the low end. Since the tender age of eight, he’s expressed his creativity through writing and playing music. Whether he’s producing dubstep, funk, blues, or anything in between, Boogie T is an entertainer at heart—blending a variety of musical elements and instruments into his signature sound. His goal in the studio and behind the decks is simple: make great music and connect with people.
Boogie T landed his first label release in 2017 on Ganja White Night’s SubCarbon Records with his debut Soul’d Out EP, earning him a spot on the iTunes Top 10 Electronic Album charts. Since then, he’s brought his funky, bass-heavy sound to top-tier labels such as Atlantic/Big Beat and Ultra Records/Sony Music. In 2018 (on 4/20, naturally), Boogie T launched his own record label, Drama Club Recordings, with a mission to deliver not only his own music but also releases from some of his favorite artists in bass music. Today, Drama Club Recordings is home to many Boogie T releases, as well as tracks from both established peers and promising up-and-comers.
In 2018, Boogie T took his career to new heights with the premiere of his live band, BOOGIE T.RIO, featuring hometown bandmates Andrew “Yàno” Yanovski on keys and Frank “Animal Drums” Castro on drums and percussion. The positive response was immediate, leading BOOGIE T.RIO to release five EPs and perform across North America on multiple headline tours in 2019 and 2023, along with appearances at Voodoo Fest, Okeechobee, and Red Rocks.
Boogie T’s touring history as a DJ includes several headline runs, most recently his Outbreak Tour in 2023—a whirlwind of more than 25 stops sponsored by Monster Energy. The tour showcased Boogie T’s commanding stage presence and ability to captivate audiences across North America, reaffirming his status as a live-performance phenomenon. Beyond his own tours, Boogie T has become a fixture at major festivals, performing at Bonnaroo, Coachella, Lollapalooza, and EDC Las Vegas.
Looking ahead, Boogie T is gearing up for another DJ tour in spring 2024 and preparing for the highly anticipated third installment of his headline Red Rocks show, Boogie T on the Rocks III. With a horde of unreleased music and a packed touring schedule on the horizon, it’s only a matter of time before Boogie T brings the bayou to you.
CYCLOPS
Blending a passion for heavy music with experimental sounds, Keith Palmieri—better known as Cyclops—has made his mark in the new wave of dubstep. Hailing from Boston, Cyclops draws inspiration from a variety of genres, creating a unique blend of innovative sound design and massive bass drops. 2024 was a major year for him, with the release of his viral track “Tear Jerker,” which quickly made waves in the dubstep community. That success led to collaborations with huge artists like Rezz, Wooli, Flux Pavilion, and more. As we move into 2025, Cyclops shows no signs of slowing down. He’s already locked in for some of the biggest festivals and is touring alongside top-tier bass artists. On top of that, he’s teasing new music that hints at even bigger things to come.
AUSTERIA
Based out of Washington D.C., Austeria is an incredible rising star that is gradually building her brand within the larger EDM community. Austeria is cut from a musical cloth similar to other all-star producers, such as Zingara, Steller, and Level Up, collaborating with Zingara and Level Up on various tracks and projects. Her music is dark, ethereal, and WUBBY, while effortlessly blending various genres of EDM together to create her own sound.
“Metamorphosis” is a perfect example of this duality in sound. The song begins with a heavenly, harmonious introduction filled with “You can’t stop me now” vocal effects and harp-like production. Drums and percussion gradually build behind these vocal effects, further feeding our sense of anticipation. “Is it my wish to be born anew?” inquires Austeria around the one-minute mark. This inquiry descends into a thick, bassy drop that lumbers about in a menacing manner. Majestic harmonies are perfectly layered with the heavy bass and percussion. Austeria then slows things down a bit with an effective bridge that leads us into the second drop. This second drop is one of the highlights of the song for me, and the reason I keep returning to this song daily. The “You can’t stop me now” vocal effects are expanded out, including the new lines “No you can’t” and “I will blow your mind.” The vocals sound more akin to something out of an R&B song than one belonging to the EDM genre, but this works on EVERY level. They add a level of soul and harmony to this song that is hard to replicate. I find myself involuntarily raising my hands to the sky while screaming “No you can’t” at the top of my lungs. Great job, Austeria!
