Red Bull Dance Your Style is bringing dancers from New Orleans and across the South together for the ultimate freestyle battle. Sixteen competitors across hip-hop, popping, jookin’, waacking, locking and more will take their talents to the dance floor in front of a live audience at Republic NOLA on Friday, March 13, hosted by New Orleans’ own DC Paul with sounds provided by DJ G-Cue.
Under the glow of blue and red lights, a squad of new and returning dancers will embrace the moment and wow the crowd in the knockout style competition. Dancers will compete in a 1:1 format in the round, bringing local flavor and impromptu moves to beat their competition and wow the crowd. Without a panel of judges, pre-planned choreography, or pre-selected music, the fans will be the judge as they determine the winner of each round and crown their regional champion.
