We had to work our BUTTS off to make this happen, but we’re so excited to announce that Republic’s annual outdoor monthly summer concert series is BACK for our 4th year; bigger, badder, and more BOOTYLICIOUS than ever … this one is by far our favorite concept to date … introducing, the super fun and slightly scandalous … SUN YA BUNZ … a monthly volleyball tournament and electronic concert series, with all the retro beach vibes that features the very best in feel-good sing-along dance music by some of the biggest touring DJs in the country performing on a fully-equipped stage at the pristine White Sand Volleyball Complex! The 2021 season kicks-off with not one, but TWO euphoric musical adventures, starting Friday 6/11 at Republic in downtown New Orleans and climaxing on 6/12 with a full day in the sun and well into the night at White Sands in Elmwood! We couldn’t just kick-off the SUN YA BUNZ concert series with any touring dance act; we had to find the perfect artist that spins upbeat, recognizable, often tropical jams infused with 90s and 00s sing-a-long hip-hop accapellas, horn samples, and funky beats that perfectly compliment the fun, beachy vibes of White Sands and SUN YA BUNZ. To kick this Summer all the way into overdrive, we’re extremely excited to announce LosAngeles-based, G House pioneer, DJ / Producer, and the perfect partner when you SUN YA BUNZ … you guessed it … our first headliner is the house anthem hitmaker and high energy performer, SNBRN! He has put on so many amazing shows for us, beloved by diehard EDM fans and the average joe alike, but never before have we paired his energy with the absolutely perfect setting. Don’t imagine a volleyball complex with a stage; be ready for an immersive boutique beach and music experience, like a mini Hangout, with extra vibes. Bet. So, start your day by rocking your most scandalous swimwear, skip on over to the massive stage, dig your toes into the sand, and enjoy festival quality production including premium sound with extra subs, tons of moving lights, a full size LED video wall, and so much more! While the volleyball tournament playoffs reach a fevered pitch in the early afternoon, DJ G gets you guys loose with top 40s classics seamlessly blended into new disco and funk before we get top-notch summery house jams from our lovely ladies (AKA EDFemmes): Emmy Sue, BadGalBinx, AND Lady Lavender as the sun sets on the day and we move into the night!!! SNBRN
SNBRN is at the forefront of a burgeoning house and indie dance scene. With over 80 million streams on Spotify and counting, the producer is perfectly poised to continue his ascension of the the dance music world. He’s already become one of dance music’s most compelling voices, having mastered the art of the anthemic house hit, as evidenced by blockbuster singles like “Gangsta Walk,” “Raindrops,” and “Beat The Sunrise.” It’s no coincidence the producer has already racked up official releases on Atlantic, Astralwerks, Spinnin’, Ultra, Republic and Sony. Simply put, his sound is infectious. With new collaborations and a high-energy live show that continues to attract new fans, SNBRN has certainly found his groove and won’t be slowing down anytime soon.

White Sands Beach Volleyball Complex
White Sands is a premiere outdoor beach volleyball complex with adjoining Seeger’s Sandbar bar & grill in Elmwood, LA, just 10-15 from downtown New Orleans, featuring 40,000 square feet of white sand over 6 premium volleyball courts! White Sand hosts leagues and tournaments year-round, including the morning of and as part of SUN YA BUNZ! White Sands will be releasing details about the tournament (doubles, quads, man, female, co-ed, levels, costumes, etc) very soon. Stay tuned for more info. The tournament will feature some of the best volleyball players in the region on the two farthest nets from the stage, and will run from approximately 10 to 3. In the true spirit of SUN YA BUNZ, this will absolutely be a BUNZ OUT tournament that you DO NOT WANT TO MISS.

Republic NOLA
Located in the warehouse / arts district of downtown New Orleans, Republic is the South’s premiere live music venue and event space, with two floors and 10,000 square feet of fully-revived historic warehouse space. The vintage hand-painted murals, original wooden beams, and stunning chandeliers are juxtaposed by state-of-the-art sound, lighting and video systems to create a unique, one-of-a-kind atmosphere. The venue’s duality is further emphasized through design choices that attune the more masculine, industrial elements like dark wood, concrete floors, and chesterfield leather couches with more feminine, opulent accents like crystal chandeliers, sleek white subway tile backsplashes, and shiny copper/brass details. Republic’s Annual Outdoor Summer Concert Series
This is Republic’s fourth year producing an outdoor Summer Concert Series. Each year, we host the series at a new, unique venue to keep the experience 100% fresh for our guests. The series has seen great success at each of the pst venues: The Drifter Hotel (Pool Party), The YNot Dock at Southshore Harbor (Dock / Waterfront / Marina), The Chateau Hotel (Courtyard / Pool Party), and now, our biggest and best off-site venue to date, the inviting, pristine, beach vibes from the one and only, White Sands Beach Volleyball Complex!

General Policies, Terms, and Conditions
NO REFUNDS. RAIN or SHINE. If sever weather makes it unsafe or impractical to produce SUN YA BUNZ, the Saturday 6/12 show will be moved to Republic and be held from 2pm to 11pm. Again, NO REFUNDS.
Both venues are non-smoking. Yes, even White Sands. Those aren’t the BUTTs we want to see in the sand! Also, don't be an ASS; please throw your trash in a dedicated recepticle! We appreciate it!

COVID Policies
The health and safety of all patrons and staff is our very highest priority. As such, various safety measures will be taken to comply with and exceed all city and state guidelines.
